im pretty sure to get the window cranks off there are cips behind them between the crank and the panel.. putting a rag behind there and playing around with it should pop it loose and you can take the crank off...... but if you want i believe they make a tool to do that too..

The only electric equipment on my Neon is the sterio. Which Im cool with, less to go wrong.
Since Im just getting to the speaker at the bottom, I wonder if I can just pop the bottom part of the doortrim and get at it from underneath......
I just want to find out "why" the speaker is making a horrible noise through the base frequencies. Sounds like something is stuck in there on the cone.

As for only removing the bottom part, that wont work. You will definitely need to get the whole panel off.
