I just purchased my daughter's off lease 2002 sxt. It only had 27000 miles on it. I have noticed that the rear fascia (bumper area panel) is dull compared to the rest of the car. It is a bright red color. It almost looks like the panel has a clear plastic coating on it. Anyone have any advise on this?

 

my 2000 has both front and rear faded
polishing works for a little time but right back to fading
i would like a solution also

i have a white 2002 neon and it has about 35,000 miles on it. the rear bumper is faded as well. it is a dirty faded like discolored, i dont know if it i the plastic or something, but i have the same prolbem
