Default Need interior 12v battery power......

Im hooking up power locks, windows, and remote starter in my 2000 Neon which has roll up windows and manual locks. Today I installed the power locks and working on the receiver and relay board and realized, after several hours with a voltmeter, that there are no 12v rails in the interior coming from the battery. Yes there are 12v but only with the ignition. I need power all the time or else my keyless entry wont work. Which brings me to my question. Is there a 12v battery source in the interior or am I going to have to run wires from the fuse box and through the fire wall? Also has anyone ever installed power windows in there roll up Neon? The power locks were a huge pain.

Yes there is a 12v constant for the HU, and also you can tap into the fuse box for one

I checked the fuse box(inside the car) and no there is not 12v going to it from the battery. Almost, excuse for my ignorance but what is the HU.

There is Constant 12V going to the radio, there is constant going to the fuse box too, just leave the key off and look for power on the fuse block.

THe HU is Head unit=cd/cassette player. I have tapped into the fuse box for a 12v constant on a neon before.... Get a volt meter and do some searching

I checked my radio connection and I couldnt get 12v from it until I turned the key. And I check the fuse box and theres no sign of a battery connection anywhere. There is no wiring for what would be the power windows, power locks, seats, etc. Ill check again this weekend if I get the time.

withouth 12v to the HU it wouldnt keep time when you shut the car off.... there is atleast two 12v constants in the fuse box... are you use a volt meter that works properly when trying this? also this might sound dumb but i have seen it done, are you pulling the fuse out and then trying to find power? i have seen worse lol
