Default Loud Squeaking coming from passenger side front ??

Yesterday I was going home from work and noticed a horrible squeaking coming from the fromt right wheel, it seems to get louder the faster you go, but this seems to be intermittent, sometimes it doesnt seem to make the noise and other times it is very noticable. Would any of you guys happen to have an idea of what this may be related to ? I just had my brakes checked two weeks ago and they were fine.

Default Really ? Do they usually squeak when they are going bad ?

I usually thought they rumble and grind when going out.

Sometimes they do, sometimes they dont. I just fixed a problem just like yours except mine was coming from the left front. It turns out that it was part of the retaining clip for the outside pad on the brake caliper. As the pads wore down this piece of metal started rubbing on the rotor and got worse as the pad started to wear more. I fixed it by taking some pliers and just snapping that part of the spring off to make it match the right side. Cars been quiet and smooth ever since.

It could be loose belts as well. When i installed the UDP and put on my new belts I didnt tighten them enough, and over a few days they tarted squeaking real bad. However, it wasnt a constant squeel, sometimes it would be perfectly fine, and other times it would be aweful.

Yeah most likely loose belts. On my old galant, i had to tighten them every 2 weeks. Worst was when i first started to accelerate...espacially in the rain or through a puddle. If not the belts...check your bearings.
