When installing your cold air intake, did you guys leave the driver side wheel flap mudd flap off? I'am not sure if I should leave it off, because then the filter would have a better tendency to get dirtier, but I could just keep re-cleaning it.

leave it on because if it is there then there will be a low pressure by the filter and more air will actually go there

 

Leave it on, what do you want to beat up you nice K&N filter (Or Like) with rocks and debris. Besides acts like a scoop from the front.
