Default Magnaflow vs. R/T

I'm curious, what would be the sound difference between the magnaflow dual muffler and the R/T style without the kitty?

If they sound similair, I bet it would be cheaper for me if I found an R/T takeoff muffler on ebay if I could find one...

I've tried to figure out if I can just buy the magnaflow dual muffler but all they list on their web site is the full system, which is way too much money for me, especially when I'm just looking for good sound and fuel efficiency.

I just hope niether muffler will be too loud without the cat, I want something smooth and throaty, not anything like a phart can.

EDIT: what's different about the 05 sxt that I'm having a hard time finding an exhaust, but they all say they fit the 04???

The Magnaflow is going to be louder than a stock R/T exhaust, and yes it would be cheaper to just find an R/T dual for a lot less. Not really sure what they would sound like without a cat, but unless your getting a longtube header, i dont see any point in removing the cat anyways...
If it fits an 03-04 it will fit a 2005, the product was probably added before the 2005 model year and no one has updated that particular section yet.

I have the R/T exhuast on mine, it's not as loud as you're scared it might be man. And will probably be cheaper like you said.
