What is loudest muffler you can buy out there rite now. Not an exhaust system just a muffler.

 

get the rear section of a srt-4. thier is no muffler and it is fuc*ing loud. i hated it but to each thier own.


why would you want it that loud? so you can get tickets and sound like you are driving a 88 civic with a giant
coffee can??

 

if it was it was me i would go for quality over sound, but yeah if you want it to be loud just get the rear section off a SRT-4 from e-bay or if you get lucky a local junkyard might have one.

 

Or just take off your muffler...oh damn the sound of an SRT-4 exhaust (on a non turbo car) for $0!

 

i did the rear of srt-4, with 3' piping backfrom the downpipe, and have one glass pack in the center section and it sounds good. a little too loud for my prego wife so i am gunna add one more glass pack and it should be perfect all for under $125

 

I ran mine with no muffler for a bit when I did my exhaust. It sounded suprisingly decent. It almost sounded like my exhaust now does. Except my exhaust now is a deeper note then it was without the muffler.
