Default cryo2 ?

OK its a system that uses compressed air to freeze a bulb in your intake or in front of an intercooler supposably in the matter of that some pony's are gain because of lower intake air and better combustion. but has any neon owners tried this or how much pony's do you think can be gained. check it out at www.designengineering.com and look for the product cryo2.

I've heard of spraying the intercooler for turbo cars, but not for an N/A neon...

the aplication for a non turbo is a pre cut mid pipe for your intake that pretty much makes the air much colder for a better combustion.but I just wanted to know about how much of gains have others gotten out of it .

well I read up on it and it seems that most cars are getting at least 5-7 tenths of a second faster. but no HP rating. I can get the kit for less on ebay for about $390.00 compared to the $480.00 I was qouted.well what do you think guys worth it?!

So for $435 (5lb tank with install kit and intake kit) you'll see a 10whp gain...

NO! 10% on ebay you can get both kits for $380. it averages out to about $33.04 per pony. kind of alot but any added boost can help.

I have this kit at home on my 2003 Tiburon GT. Don't expect the result of nitrous on it, but it does help. If you are really into building up your car, or you put it into shows or whatever, contact DEI and ask for a partial sponsorship. That's how I got mine, and saved some money. The bottle is not filled with compressed air. It's filled with CO2. If not installed correctly, it will actually screw up dettonation because it's essentially a fire extinguisher.

Other than that, the bottle will last you about 4-6 runs down the 1/4 before you notice a loss in bottle pressure. I have mine installed to run through my intake, and purge out the top of my front bumper. In my opinion, is the kit worth it....sure, it gives the car nice and cold air to breathe and looks hella cool when it purges.

hope that helps.
