Are you talking about the ProCharger brand superchargers? If so, then hell yes they work, i just dont think anyone has put one on a Neon...or any S/C for that matter...except the SRT-4 concept.

ProCharger does make a "Universal Sport Compact Kit"...however i would imagine it would take quite a bit of fabbing and modifications...if it were easy i'm sure someone would have done it by now.

No one makes a supercharger or S/C kit specifically designed fo a Neon (except Dodge), but with enough fabrication and knowledge someone could make one work...but turbo is still the easiest, and cheaper way to go...

NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO!!!!!!!!! There was speak of a concept supercharged to rivial the cobalt ss, but word has it that superchargers and the 2.0l sohc engine does not mingle near as well as turbocharging, as demonstrated by the SRT-4. Also, i am to assume you were thinking of a supercharger because of it's reputation for being a "bolt-on" power adder, right? well, i have some bad news for you, if you want to stuff more air into your engine, you must also make sure that you upgrade the pcm, and aftermarket ones are far and few between, and when you do find them, they are pricey.

p.s TURBOCHARGE IT!
