Default 1.4" Drop Enough??

Hey, I'm looking at a Tokico package that inlcudes the HP Struts and Tokico Lowering springs that will lower my '03 SXT 1.4". I'm planning on getting some 17" rims in the near future too, along with the Mopar Lip Kit(fingers crossed on that one, hopefully I can get a hold of one). But anyways, my question is will the 1.4" drop be enough to be noticeable with the 17's or should I try to go more? I'm just really interested in this strut/springs package because I'm getting it for around $375, which, after doing some pricing research seems like a pretty good deal for the quality of parts I'm getting. Any thoughts or advice on this?

I would go for the spring kit, the Tokico HP blues are great replacement struts, and if you ever wanted a more extreme drop, all you would need is to go out and buy soime Eibach Sportlines and you wouldnt hve to worry about any strut issues...I say buy it!

GR2 are ok but don't drop them too much ore they seems to fail from what others have said. Tokico HP's are probably the best normal strut you can buy after market without going up to SRT4 Illumina series with SRT4 springs.

i have the tokico kit youre talking about and the 1.4 it plenty. dont go any lower than that on a daily driver because i bottom out once in a while with that. im gettin 17" within the next few weeks and the gat i have now with the wheel well is good for it but you might want to get spacers depending on the ofset of the rim

yeah what mikey said... i just sheared a hole in my tranny fluid pan driving over road construction. i am riding on eibach pro-kit springs and the car looks slammed. they claim a 1.5" drop but it's considerably more.

Thanks for the replies. I went ahead and purchased the kit. It should be here and installed by next weekend, I'll try to post pics or update my gallery.
