Default AC problem on an 2000

I have a 00 Neon with about 103,000 on it. Just recently the AC got warmer and warmer and now it does not blow cold at all. This happened over a 2 week period. I figured it needed to be charged and maybe had a leak. I picked up a recharge kit and hooked it up to the only port that it would fit on in the AC system (on the passenger side near the strut tower). The kit instructions say the pressure should be at 25 to 45 PSI with the AC on max cool. Mine is reading about 100 PSI. I did not try to charge it of course. Has anyone else experienced this? Does anyone know what could be wrong? I need to fix this as cheap as possible and quick. I live in Atlanta and drive 2.5 hours round trip for work.

Your best bet is to have a dealer take a look at it if what you've tried so far hasnt worked.

Sounds like you are seeing a static charge.
Meaning your compressor is not running.
Check your fuse. If thats good, better take it to a dealer.
