Default Removing my torqe converter

Ok, so i went to a couple of transmissions shops and they all had the same diagnosis: BAD TORQUE CONVErTER. A couple of places would charge me over 750.00 to replace, 300 for the converter and 450 fo the labor. Do you know how long it takes me to make 750.00? I decided to start the project myself. First and foremost, I bought the Haynes Manuel (good investment). I lifted the car and put it up on jacks, not a easy feat if you doing it in your unlevel back yard, either way I did it. AFter the air box and battery tray were removed I then proceded to take apart all of the electircal. As of today I have drained the tranny fluid and removed the Passender side drive shaft. Pretty easy with the right tools, I ll keep you guys up to date. This friday I should take the other drive shaft off and strart removing the transaxel from the engine. God willing the car should be good to go on Sat night.
