I see quite a few mentions of swapping the 2.0 out for a 2.4, but I was wondering if there are any other swaps that would be "easy". Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm assuming that the 2.4 wiring harness will hook right up to a 2.0 car (different ECU though obviously). Are there any other engines that would do this? Perhaps the 3.0 V6 for example?

 

Not sure on other options but, to answer the wiring question... no they are not the same, you have to do the full wiring harness and ecu swap.

 

Anything is possible with the right amount of money...but i would imagine it could be difficult fitting the engine into the Neon engine bay...but like i said, with enough money, anything is possible!
