About how much will it be to have an underdrive pulley installed on my 05 neon sxt

 

It would probably take a mechanic a half hour to install the UDP, so its all dependant on that shops hourly labor costs. In all honesty, it is a very easy install that would take any normal individual an hour to two hours for a complete install if you have a pulley puller and the normal garage tools.

 

is there different pulley pullers, do i need a specific one or just any, can they be rented?

 

They can be rented from Autozone and you get the money back as soon as you return the puller. I beleive the correct name is a "three jaw pulley puller" or soemthing along those lines...

 

I think from what I've seen it would cost around 100 dollars to get one installed. I don't have one installed and if I did I would have done it myself so I don't have personal experience with it but that seems to be the ballpark figure for that.
