hey i'm new to engins, but wanting to learn how to work on them. i have a problem, when the gas gauge goes down then the car starts to die out. when i'm at a full stop then trying to go then it starts to die out. i want to know if it's the fuel pump, or something else. thank you

 

What year? Manual or auto? How many miles? Mmmmmm...what else can you tell us?

 

sounds like it would be a fuel pump have your local mechanic take a look
