Anyone installed an IPOD in their neon? What do you guys think would be the best way to hook it up? I dont really want to pay the $60 for the dodge IPOD connection kit... I figured i would just install and amp that ran all four speaker and hook it up to the RCA's. But even that starts to get expensive if you want it right. I would be doing the install myself, and i am familiar with electronics and dodge. But any advice is appreciated.

i have a chrysler auxiliary input converter that just plugs into back of the stock deck. it looks like the one below.

if you want it, you can have it for the cost of shipping. the only thing is i dont have the rca plug to run from the ipod to the converter.

Just got a transpod for my shuffle. Plugs into the DC outlet and tune into the radio. Work OK.

 

i've got one of those, dont werk to well for me... round here we have alot of radio stations and they interfere with the signal
