yeah, all you need is the wiring adapter from wally world, the install kit that comes with the plastic trim, and a cd player... The ends on the wiring adapter should be color coded the same as the after market cd player, you will want to pickup some butt comnnectors to join the wries good and tight. It's really not hard at all. Most install kits come with instructions and what not.... Give it a try, and take lots of pics! we wanna see too!

Yea.
The wire butts are a must.
I have to redo the wiring job the previouse owner did... Twisted wires and black tape.... Amatures!!

Actualy replacing the unit itself took about 5 minutes.

Quick description, (there is a great picture on this forum somewhere).
Twist the air vents until they pop out.
Pull the a/c controls off their *****.
Look up into the beezle and remove the two screws at the top.
Very carefuly pull the rest of the beezle away from the dash, it should just pop off.
Its that easy!!

wire butt connectors are not a must.. they just make it look clean... electrical tape does the same thing.. it looks messy but who can see the wires when the cd player is in any way...besides.. if you take that cd player out you have to cut the wire.. therefor making the wires shorter if you want to re-install something else.. trust me it isnt fun i just went thru that on 2 of my brothers monte carlo's.. but if you want to take your time, use the butt connectors, if you just want to get it done use electrical tape. besides if you twist them right they are not gonna come off. and its not like your losing sound quality.

oh and make sure you hook up the speaker wires to the right ones in the harnes.. if you have to test the stock wires from the car use a AA battery and wait till you hear static and thats the corresponding speaker...bc you dont want to figure out how to adjus the sound after you get it all in..and sony has some good cd players for like $100 or get demo pieces from your local car audio store
