Default auto to manual?

Hi, Im interested in knowing alittle info on swapin a auto trans for a manual..Im thinking about it cuz of the 3 cylinder auto vs the 5 speed manual..and if i wanna run turbo at anytime i think it would just work better...My question is what EXACTLY do i need to do it..?? im thinking of buying the parts at a junk yard and then seeing if a mechanic will installl and do the swap for me..cuz im not so smart when it comes to things like that...Im sure this is asking alot but if you do list what i need can you be very specific and maybe an estimate on how much you think everything including labor would cost and if (which im sure i can) use a tranny from a PT cruiser? Or is it worth maybe find a crashed PT GT cruiser and doing a full engine swap? Please be specific on things as i kinda wanna know as much as i can so i can have someone help me for a few hrs pulling this stuff off the car. Thanks in advance.

Ok, heres a partial list of things you'll need for the MTx, i'm not positive this is everything you will need, but its most of it and its a start...

[ul][*] 3.94 or 3.55 MTX [*] Bellhousing [*] Four Cable retaining clips [*] Selector cable 1 crossover cable [*] Booger bushings [*] Power brake pushrod retaining clip [*] MTX mount (solid) [*] Shifter assembly (stock or SRT-4 STS/ or Similar) & boot assembly [*] Clutch & brake assembly [*] Halfshaft (drivers side) [*] Clutch cable bracket [*] PT Cruiser Non-Turbo modular clutch or similar[*] Throw out bearing [*] MTX ECU
[/ul]

If you want to do a engine swap from either the PT Cruiser GT or SRT-4 you'll need...
[ul][*] [*] Engine and Tranny [*] Complete Engine Wiring Harness [*] Complete Engine Bay Wiring Harness [*] Power Steering Pump, lines, and cooler [*] Intercooler Piping [*] Intercooler [*] Radiator Hoses [*] Motor Mounts (the holes are larger on the the upper and lower mounts for larger bolts) [*] SRT PCM (wont' need the bracket with 03+) [*] Axles (and half shaft if it isn't on the engine) [*] Coolant Bottle [*] Fuel Line from tank to engine bay [*] Fuel Pump [*] Flex Fuel line from solid fuel line to fuel rail [*] Short evap hose that comes from the purge valve [*] All vacuum lines and the 3 selonids [*] o2 Sensors [*] Turbo Housing + o2 Housing [*] Lower Control Arms
