Default torque steer?

I was just wondering if there was a way to stop or lighten-up the extreme torque steer that I experiance in my 04sxt? Maybe a limited slip diff would help? Or adding sway bars and stiffening up the suspension? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

what do you have for mods that makes your torque steer hard to handle? I don't think you'll ever get it to go away totally. My little brother's stage 3 SRT-4 with LSD and upgraded suspension still pulled like a bastard.

nothing really. I K&N drop in, and front & rear strut bars. It's so bad on take off in 1st, that I almost hit a car in the opposite lane. It pulls to the drivers side so much that I have to correct with steering to avoid hitting oncoming cars, then when I shift to 2nd, I have to quickly correct again, or vear into the right lane.

There is no reason why you should have that kind of torque steer...

Yeah really you shouldn't be having any problems. My car is stock and I've never noticed anything at all. Yours shouldn't be any different.

Do you think that something could be wrong that would cause this? My ex had a 01 ES and and there was nothing noticeable in her car, but I definately notice it in my car. Should I get alingment checked and look at axles and what not?

Have it checked over for alignment or other issues. Torque steer while present is light and easily managable.
