Default EBay Wheels

I was lookin around for a cheap set of wheels and ebay has a lot of em, but ive learned that some things are too good to be true, so i thought id ask you guys about it, what should i expect to pay for a decent set of wheels w/o tires? i previously figured 800 for wheels and tires but idk, can i get good deals if i went to a place that sells wheels instead of ordering em froma website? (im wary about spending that much on the internet) + the s/h charge

also whats the bolt pattern on a neon? 5/100?

bolt pattern for a neon is 5x100

price of wheels depends greatly on the wheel you are buying if you want just a nice looking wheel you can spend as little as 100 per wheel. these will be a little heavier and slow your car down. if you are worried about a heavy wheel you can get a light one (less than 18 lbs) for anywhere from 200-400 per wheel and maybe even more. it all depends what you are looking for. do you want aluminum colored racing wheels or do you just want nice black wheels with a chrome lip like the rest of the world (no offence to whoever has them they are nice)

if you want to get a good price and buy from near you try your local flea market or at a swap meet.ebay deals are good, but you are also getting no-name brands and you don't know the quality. anyway im kinda getting off topic so a decent average price will be around 800 like you previously said if you are buying ebay check your buyer before you spend money for **** wheels

sorry didnt read that far lol honestly im not entirely sure you could just take your wheel off and weigh it with the tire. you can find the wieght of the tire on the manufacturer website probably and just subtract it and you have the weight of the steel wheel. any wheel less than that would inprove gas milage (to tell your dad) but just factor in a tire you put on the new wheel because they can weigh a lot

its no problem, thx for the reply though, now that ive ordered my stereo, new tires and wheels next on my list, and since lighter ones would eventually pay for themselves (at least a little bit) paying a little extra dosent seem so bad
