Default front driver and passenger side noise.

When i go over little bumps...like the reflectors in the streets...or..a small hole in the road..i hear a lite clanking sound..almost everytime i drive my car...I know the car has problems but i was wondering what it was..And does anyone know if ANY ol mechanic will look over my car top to bottom and let me know what all needs to be done? and how much do you think it would cost??? Thanks

if u have the stock rims on the car a bolt might have come loose under the cap that is rolling around in there? so have someone stand outside ur car and go over a speedbump or any bump or just drive down your street a few times and have the person listen to where the noise is comming from would be the first things i would do....

If you are not familiar with the parts and pieces then you should probably take it to a Mechanic and have it inspected. If you want to look for any obvious loose stuff then by all means. But they should be able to show you stuff that is loose and moving be it ball joints (My have to pry to show you), tierods or bushings. Might even be the strut mounts or stru itself. Those are a lot harder to show on most occasions.
