Default Exhaust question

hey guys i am looking at putting exhaust on my 04 sxt neon. I was wantingto run dual exhaust on it and maybe make it look like a srt-4 but then some people where telling me that i would lose power. Is that True? i have been looking at running a single ehaust. I have been looking at the HKS 4 inch high flow muffler and a dc sports muffler. Anybody got any ideas or input. Also, I DONT WANT A RICER SOUND! i like the loud and bold sound now the weedeater sound. My friend has an hks and i really like it. anybody know of any good deals, and all of yalls imput would be awsome!

Thanks
Josh

Either an R/T exhaust or an SRT-4 exhaust with a glasspack welded into the midpipe.

The nice things about neons is that they look very good with dual exhuasts. Fortunately, even buying a rear section such as a vibrant like myself will give a good 3 whp in reutrn just by freeing up the 2" diameter exhuast tubing. Anyways, in my opinion, if you are going for performance, go ahead and stick with borla, an RT exhuast, SRT-4 Exhuast, vibrant, pacesetter, or a magna-flow exhuast set-up.

if you are looking for sound alone... well everything else is there for noise.

alright thanks man i have been needing to here some feedback like that i hate the rice sounds, but i loved the sound of the hks muffler but never really heard of vibrant. I am also looking at a megan exhaust. anybody heard of that and is it really true i will loose horsepower if i run dual exhaust or not.

you wont lose any power out of a dual because it is not a true dual which is two completely separaye exhaust systems, its the same if you have two outlets as with just one if not better
