There's a how-to on how to swap the odo reading part from one cluster to another on the web. It can be done, it involves several torx screws...

Hi all! want to thank everyoine here for the replys! ..I had a decent day weather-wise here, and dove into this project...

I had only about 30 minutes of daylight left when I got home from work and it only took me about 20!

Thanks to SpikeyMike, printed out the instructions and everything went perfect!...I didn't even fully remove the whole top dash, just got all the screws out and lifted it high enough to slip out the old, and slip in the new.

...and I did answer my own question about the tricky screws up near the windshield...a shorty "stubby" philipps screwdriver will get these no problem, in and out.

Highly recommend this low cost mod, IF you can find an cluster with mileage close to yer old one...didn't go as far as trying the last suggestion about swapping out the odometer section with-in the cluster itself, but I can see that there are a few torx screws holding the cluster together...maybe with those out and the gauges opened up, may be able to figure it out on yer own....

really like the new white faced gauges and how they light up at night...and now a tach too.

Yep they look cool. I had mine in the car less then a week. And I got a chance to get a SRT-4 dash, so I put it in to my car.

I took one apart last night. I seen nothing in there that you could change. Other then the speedo. But why bother, you would maybe loose the white face. Or if you have a SRT dash you would loose the silver face. If you are trying too put a tach in a car that did not have a tach. So I'm going to live with my odometer reading for right now.
