5 Different Error codes all at once, 2001 neon HELP! I think there connected!
Ok, heres the thing I have 5 different error codes on the check engine light of my 2001 Neon SE. The car runs awesome, no problems, i recently installed a tack to my black wire with a grey streak on the side coming out of my ignition coil. But only read half RPMs as i thought so I unpluged it. I never cut the wire.
So as I was saying, the car runs awesome, cold air, high performance wires/plugs, K&N filter, exhaust, the works, but ever since i messed with that damn wire this have been going downhill. At first my engine was misfireing. So i replaced the plugs and it ran beautifuly, had the platinum ones for about 3 years so its about time it goes bad.
SO NOW THE CAR RUNS COMPLETLY FLAWLESS! But it has the check engine light on with the following codes:\
P1192 - IAT circuit LOW
P1193 - IAT circuit HIGH ?? How can it be low and high at the same time??
P0351- Ignition Coil No. 1 primary Circuit
P0352 Ignition Coil No. 2 Primary Circuit
P1388 Auto shutdown relay circuit
OK HOW CAN A IAT CIRCUT BE HIGH AND LOW! THERE TWO EXTREMES! And as i said the car runs awesome, but it says thats wrong? I want to fix them one by one, the simpiliest to the more expensive. Some one tell me what they know and they will be a GREAT help in keeping my neon going in the long run!
Thank you,
Andrew

IAT low means open circuit. IAT high means errant voltage to the circuit. Now they set one at a time. So if you had feed back into the system or unpluged witht he key on you get the idea.
Tach may have messed with coil primary side wiring.
So try a reset and see if they come back. IF SO then troubleshoot the first one out of th PCM first. Whatever it is.
