Has anybody ever heard any weird sound, say when you come home late and you turn off your car, start walking away and hear some type of "clinking" sound from the engine area. I guess it has to be pretty quiet in order to hear it, but thats the only way i could describe it, it sounds like something made of metal, or close to metal that makes that "clink" sound. I have heard it on other cars as well but never really bothered to think what it was till now that i heard it from my car. So does anybody know what it might be.... thanks.

 

Most likely your exhaust system cooling down. Some cars are worse than others.
