Default SE exhaust?

I want custom exhaust, but the stock pipe on my car comes out underneath the bumper. There is a faint line where the exhaust would protrude on a different model, but I'm a little scared to cut it myself.

If I am going to cut it, any suggestions on how, and also how to finish it properly once I'm done?

Not sure yet, I don't have a real big budget or anything. Also, this is my first car, so tuning and customizing are pretty new to me.
What are there for low-budget friendly exhaust systems?

Rear sections such as Pacesetter and Vibrant are good budget systems...or used SRT-4 rear sections (just make sure you weld in a glass-pack on the midpipe!) and used R/T rear sections.

Used SRT-4 or R/T is prolly what I'd go with, although I'd need to cut a second hole in my bumper. Dual exhaust looks wicked on these cars. SRT4 sections fit no problem?

The SRT-4 bumpers cutouts are spaced out farther, so you may have some initial fitment issues, but all you would need to do is take it to a muffle shop and have them adjust the piping accordingly...since you should already be at the muffler shop to have the glasspack welded in...

i have an r/t rear section that i want to sell. it will fit right up to the srock piping with the adapetor. just pm me the srt reaqar section will require more modding because it is a larger pipe so it is not a direct fit i believe that the stock se piping is 2in and srt is 2.5
