fog lights?
I bought some yesterday but i couldnt find a hole in the firewall to run the wires through for the switch can someone help me out maybe by some pics?? and how do i run the wires? the instructions just say run here, run there..not being specific..
Most of the time you'll have to drill your own hole through the firewall. You can get firewall grommets that will seal the wire to the hole. Or, like I did for my amp power wire, if it's a round wire, drill the hole just slightly smaller than the wire, so it will be snug, but not tight enough to wreck the insulation.
well i did mine simple, i didnt use a switch. i just grabbed each positive from the light and connected it to the positive of the bumper lights (left with left, right with right) same with the negative. of coarse i didnt split it, i just cut the lightbulb so now i have no bumper lights, didnt really like em anyways. if u run the fog and bumper lights the lights might not be strong enough. if u want the switch, the firewall hole is right behind the steering wheel, at least for the 00-02. i just ended up taking and cutting that rubber housing because i have a few things runing there, i just put thick layers of electrical tape ont he edges so they int sharp. if u decide to keep the rubber housing then its hard but doable, just tape the switch cables to a long screw driver and stick it true and just get the cables from the inside. any other question let me know. good luck
Ok i looked ..I saw a hole to the left of the steering stuff...has 2 fat cables running through and 1 small..Is that what your talking about?, and if so can i see where does it come out inside the car? can i see if just buy flashing a light up from above the pedels? And i just cut the rubber thing alittle till i can see through??? Thanks
I wanna use a switch to be able to turn them off and on..Ima wire the ground for the lights outside to a ground i found on the inside top of my wheel well in my engine bay..and the ground and live wires inside the car for the switch ima go with attaching them to the rado..Ive already done it with my radar so why not!
