Default short shifter

anyone put in a short shifter in the dodge neon. i have a 05 sxt and i am thinking about putting it in


any help is much appreciated

Yes, I have the Mopar Short Throw Shifter and i love it. It has roughly a 30% throw reduction over stock, but there is a STS made by Maddog that you can order either 50%, 70%, or 80% throw reductions.

From your experience is 30% good. I know as you reduce throw you will increase shifing effort. Would you want to go further?

30% is the best of both worlds, it has a shorter throw but it doesnt really require any more effort. If i had the extra money laying around i would buy the 50%...i cant imgaine the 70 or 80...that would be insane.
