Hey Guys. Newb to this site here. I have a 2000 Dodge Neon and I wanted to change my taillights. The problem is that The tails that I want say they are for 02 or 03 and up. I know the 02's or 03's changed the style just a tiny bit by making the bottoms more straighter.


What kind of gap would I have if I were to install these? Or is it possible to install em without a condensation problem?

There will be a very large gap. The rear bumper was changed for the 03+ Neons...

 

If those lights are for an 02 your ok.If there for an 03 and up they wont fit properly,and you would probably have to change your rear bumper and maybe trunk,im not 100% sure if the 03 trunk and bumper line up properly with the 00-02's though.But im sure someone else can answer that for you.

 

you can tell by looking they are designed for an 03+ model. If your looking for good headlights you have a couple to choose. Check out Modern Performance. They offer some. Ebay as well.

 

yea those wont fit, and the gap is not worth it. you should check modernperformance.com theyhave a nice selection of taillights for 00 01 and 02s

 

just get a regular 03+ silver rear bumper off of an sxt or something. cheap like 100 bucks and then put those taillights with it. no need to change trunks there all the same
