Without modding, in inch terms, the biggest would be 18x7... 18x7.5 inches might rub... It did when I had mine, had 215/35 tires on them... I recommend 17x7 though...
Ditto. I have seen a few 18x7.5 equipped Neon with no rubbing on stock suspension, but that is pushing it. I'm with Midnight, until you can get rid of the stock struts which are in the way just go with some nice 17x7 rims...

I have 18's with 215/35 and my tires dont rub and i have stock suspension on my car. I haven't put my coilovers on yet so I don't know how they will react with the car and the rims.

React? It will only get better my friend if they are real coilovers...

also, you have to look at the offset of the rims. +35 is fine, but you start pushing it when you get to +42 and more

I have 18s on with 225/40 tires and not lowered as of yet cause of winter coming . 18s rides really nice and looks so cool!
