Default CEL Code P0441?

My check engine light just came on today, and I checked the code and it said this:

P0441 (M) Evap Purge Flow Monitor Insufficient or excessive vapor flow detected duirng
evaporative emission system operation.

What does that mean, and what do I do to fix it? Please don't give me some technical terms, just put it simply. I don't know much about cars. I've seen so many different responses saying it could be a filter (but didnt say whether it was a fuel filter, air filter, or whatever else has a filter), or a gas cap. I need an answer of what the most likely problem could be, not 10 diffrent ones, haha.

Would look into a Evap Purge Valve. They are saying you are getting too much or not enough flow based on its commanded position vs actual flow.

I have a 2003 Neon and the check engine indicator popped on the other day. The code I'm getting is P0441. I assumed this is the Evap Purge Flow Monitor, but the car is also overheating. What's going on? Are there multiple problems or are they related? I'm about to pass 60K and this is the first trouble I've ever had. (Maybe Father Time is catching up?) [:@]
