Does anyone know where you can get the msd coil pack for an 01 neon besides modernperformance.com, i dont really like the way there website is set up, it seems that you have to call and order your parts and they dont appear to be real vehicle specific, i like to do all my ordering without talking to someone who knows nothing about it anyway. Thats just me though, if all else fails, i'll prolly order it from them, but in the mean time, does anyone know any other place online where you can get that coil pack?

modern is the best place there is. you do have to call up but they are very nice and very well informed on the phone. you can always call up and ask if you have questions also i think the msd is just a replacement for the stock one and you won't really get anything out of it. you could try the screamon demon which puts out a higher voltage. i have that and im happy with it. i got it from howellautomotive.com

You shouldnt have any problem ordering them from a parts store. This is one of those things that can be found not just online.
However, modernperformance IS one of THE BEST places to fidn what you need. Howell Automotive is right up there and my vote would be its only second to modernperformance. They do an AWESOME job of sending you ALL the parts you need. (ex: if it has some off shaped hex they send it. Or if it needs washers or something like a new gasket). They are awesome, great service as well from both.
I guess this is just my question but uh... why do you need a new coil pack? There shouldnt be anything wrong with your stock one. I needed one cuz my idle was horrible and I replaced everything but nothing did the trick...

well, i bought a bank repo neon, i know nothing about its past and niether did the bank, i guess i dont know if i need one, but i'm replacing absolutly everything that i can think of just because it will make me feel better inside... For all i know, the one that is on there could be brand new, but thats the thing, i know nothing about it, so it just gives me personal satisfaction to know that the parts are new, it has a 130k on it... think it should be fine?
