NEWBY wants to do some upgrades- Need suggestions!
I just bought a used 2003 SXT. It looks like it had some repair work done to the front end, but all the mechanics are sound. I even get 36 mpg!
I want to do some upgrades, but I would like to get everyone's opinions. Below is a list of possible areas for my to immediately upgrade. Please provide brand names (part numbers would be helpful too).
air intake
exhaust
wheels and tires
"Euro" style head and tail light assemblies
Many thanks in advance.

hey you can check the how to make my 2nd gen faster post that is stickied, but i reccomend aem or k&n for your intake. you could also just make your own out of pvc. thats how i have mine and im happy with it. you can go to modernperformance.com for all of your neon needs its a great store. maybe even the best. it is def my favorite, the people are great and very informative and shipping is very fast. also you can go to howelautomotive.com i have ordered from them, but ive heard mixed reviews from them
Yea, there are a lot of threads about what to do. I even have one too, start browsing the forum there's a lot there. If you need anything I have a few emails that someone wrote about what to do to my 03 neon sxt. Let me know if you want to read that?
PM me.

Intake -- K&N Typhoon
Exhaust -- Borla
Wheels -- Find ones you like and tires would need to know if you plan on using them in winter or go back and forth to summer and winter tires. For speed and performance stick with 15" for looks that is up to you.
