I had a Ford Ranger before I traded it in for my '04 Neon SXT. One thing I liked about the Ranger was that the power outlet was always hot, even when you shut the Truck off. Does anyone have any idea how easy it would be to rewire the Neon's power outlet so that it is always hot?

just unplug the harness from the power outlet and locate the hot wire with the key on. cut it and tape it off and then run a constant hot lead to the wire you cut going into the power outlet. Presto! its always hot now.
