Default Compression Ratio

I am Rebuilding an SRT4 engine block from scratch. It is going to be for racing and show. Stock compression ratio is 8.1:1 should i go with a higher or lower compression ratio on this performance block.

dont go lower. if you drop down youll need a tow truck to get off the line. an 8.6 JE is perfect. if you want to boost into the mid 20s then you want to watch your fuel. get an accel and a lap top. as long as your pressure is perfect you could run 10.5lbs into the 20s.
