Default odd engine code

The other day my check engine light came on. I went to autozone and the code was P0601 it is the internal control module fault detected what the heck is that the dodge dealership cant tell me so I dont know someone tell me what it is.

im pretty sure it means your programming on your ECU is funky. Im fairly certain it means it needs a re-flash.

Not sure... so i won't tell you that it NEEDS to be re-flashed...

so how would I go about doing that. and could that mess up my car. just curious never done it before.

A "reflash" would have to be done at the dealership...so no, it wont mess up your car if its done properly at the dealership...if anything it should make it run better.
