lock no longer works
i just went to get into my car and i found that the key no longer unlocks the driver side door. i'm pissed cause i sure as heck aint going to dukes of hazzard it so i am having to unlock to passenger side door and then unlock the driver side. i know some of you will say leave it unlocked but... i am at college right now and i can't say i totally trust ppl on the campus. any one have this experiance? whats the best way to have it fixed and about how much will it run ?
Happened a lot on my Ford Aerostar. Driver side seized up, came in thru passenger side. Fixed driver side, passenger side seized up. Then the third side door seized up.
Not sure what exactly causes it...wonder if you have to lubricate locking parts with graphite or if something broke inside. I think the FSM might tell you how to get your lock thingy out, you're probably going to have to at some point or another.

It's a normal problem around here. I have fixed mine and 2 other friends Neons. The e-ring that hold the arm on to the lock, on the inside of the door came off or broke. A 10 min fix and a 20cent e-ring
