I was driving home from school today when suddenly the engine light turned on. I have a 2005 SXT with 20,000 miles on it and a warranty, should I take it to the dealer?

 

Please take this in the light hearted and fun manner in which it is meant........


DUH!!!! LOL!!!


If it is under warranty why should you deal with it. Your job it to let then dealership fix it and charge DAIMLER-CHYRSLER. Then you drive home with a (Hopefully) properly running car and a mile. Unless you have modded the heck out of it make 'em fix it.

would a cold air intake **** the dealership off?

 

a cold air wount void your warrenty but you might want to check your code first. if its simple you may just want to fix it yourself. check the thread at the top of the page engine codes.

 

i just took it to auto zone and they checked it, it was nothing, just a random light but thx all
