catalytic converter
where is the best place to get a catalytic converter?
lookin for good quality at an affordable price.
2001 dodge neon.
by the way if i have a check engine light for catalytic converter can that help acceleration when i change it. I hear yes and no. ive heard yes from a mechanic only if it is clogged. i've noticed hesitation in acceleration and i have to push the pedal down far in order to get good acceleration. I am changing the oil on time but i've noticed right before i reach the 3,000 miles of having to change the oil....my oil light comes on when i take sharp turns, or stop too suddenly. Im assuming im burning oil faster than i should be there for having to make an oil change sooner? i don't know much about cars so looking for some input.
thanks!

RE: catalytic converter
Just get a magnaflow or catco high flow catalytic converter at modernperformance for like 80 bucks, you can also get a true replacement from them for 220 other wise you'll have to go to a junk yard to find one. Just use a test pipe or get a header if you dont mind the check engine light being on.
