How much hp can i expect?
Ok, help me out here fullbuilt. I think you know what you are talking about. I want to buy that "performance master engine rebuild kit sohc 2.0" From howell automotive. For the set up that im looking to do, "non race" just trying to be faster than 80% of the other neons on the road, and only on the road. help me answer these questions. It asks....
Bore Size?
Camshaft?
Main Bearing Size?
Oil Pump?
Pistons?
Rod Bearing Size?
Rod Lenght?
What do you suggest? I dont want to go so far that i could risk damaging my engine.

then i would suggest letting howell handle putting it together it should end up being the same price and he is set up to ballence. plus i can vouch for his blocks, there solid. plus with as many as he dose there be les chance of a messup.
Well if i'm going to have them completly rebuild the motor top to bottom, then my next question is... What about there crate motors? They say that they are strictly for race only. What would be the disadvantage of droping one of them in an every day driver noen?
there crates are what i was talking about. they only put race only on for legal matters. i live in Pa and we are almost as anul as cali on inspections and I pass no prob. PS with as far away from keyser as you are i would bit on the core charge and let them find one for you. then you have yours as a backup or can sell it local.
So just so we are clear, in regaurds to this post. You are saying the most logical thing to do is to buy the complete engine that howell offers? By the way, thank you for all of your input "wellbuilt" You really know what you are talking about and youre never short and cocky with people, we need more people like you on these forums.
