I hate the stealerships so much that I think I'm going to wait until she comes over here for a few days and give it to my favorite mechanic here (other than me that is[sm=icon_rofl.gif]) Maybe if I give him a case of expensive brewski he'll do it on the cheap!

 

I ended up changing the O2 sensors again with Bosch OEM replacements. Not only were the sensor probes different, but the wiring didn't have to be played with to hook them up.

Ok, so everything has been fine for the past year. Now, about 2 weeks ago, the CEL came on again.

The code that came up had to do with the upstream O2 sensor AGAIN!!! AAARRGGHHH!!!!!!!!![sm=boohoo.gif]

We've only driven this car about 5000 miles since the O2 sensors were replaced, now it's starting again. I'm at a loss and about to nut up.

Does anyone have some ideas on this?

A proper application of high explosives is not entirely out of the realm of possibilities here. At least I'll save my sanity.
