Default question

can a dodge neon run sluggish or bad with a cheap cold air intake but this cai is cheap but to me its almost as good as an aem because my neon is running very sluggish and burns alot of gas but to me this sounds likke the computer is telling the engine to burn more gas and thats where i get the slugishness around 2 or 3 thousand rpm is where i get a bogging. can anyone help me with this please thanx

A CAI in never going to make your car bog down. I've actually heard someone say that their car was boggin b/c of their intake in real life and thats why they lost the race, but its a load of crap.
My guess would to just check the basics like spark plugs and wires and buy some injector cleaner like mike9fore said. Just make sure all the basics are covered and if its still bogging down after that then it might be something more serious but not your intake.

a bog at mid range is usualy a vac unless your timing jumped or you have a leak behind the throttle body. all of thoughs could have that affect.

well i agree with u fullbuilt i think its a bad throttle body and like i would be giving it steady gas then gas like steady at 3000 rpm then it will let off gas and will go to at the most 2000rpm like its cuttin out but idk the cars only has 19000 miles on it
