Default TRANSMISSION INSTALL PROBS!!! PLEASE HELP!!!

ok so i put the tranny in my car today and do everything by the book....... well i put the starter in and go to start it and it just clicks...... ok dead battery.... i charge it and try again.... clicks..... so i pull the starter and try it with the starter out. And the starter works great. WTF.
Now... if i losen all the bolts connecting the tranny to the motor and try and start it, it turns over, but has a real hard time. Once all the bolts are tight it wont turn at all. Even if i try and turn the UDP with a socket it is locked as hell. Now my question..... is their something that has to be lined up just right when pushing the trans onto the motor. I did it just as the book said but it dont work???? It seems like the fly wheel is jamming up??

Oh yeah, it a 2000 SE with a ATX.

PLEASE HELP!!! I want my car to work again!!!

Make sure that everything is lined up perfect. I think it would be best to pull the tranny again and make sure the clutch, place, flywheel and bearings are lined up. Sounds like a jam if the bolts are tight and nothing is engaging.
