Ordering seprately- Ebay CAI and K&N Filter
After searching the forum for answers on the issue, I was still in a quandrey.
After I order one of those cheap-filter-having CAI's from Ebay, what's the part number to the K&N cone filter I would have to order to replace the included filter???
You gotta respect the fact that going this route is A LOT cheaper than purchasing a name brand FIPK or CAI.

It should be a universal cone filter...just find the right diameter filter to match your intake piping and you should be all set. I think they sell them at Autozone (at least they sell them at my store), or just go to the K&N website and search for them.
Most any auto parts store will sell the cone K&N filter, and ebay as well. Also I really dont see the need even if it might be 10% better than the ones that come with the CAI off ebay. My suggestion would be to save yourself 40 bucks and dont buy a K&N filter. But ultimatly its your decision.
