Default Code help...please

K I have a 2004 Dodge Neon se. I recently got the codes off this site, and looked to see what codes my car was showing. the check engine light has been on for a couple months now and when i took it to a mechanic he couldn't find anything wrong with it. well now it beeps at me after a minute of the car being on. the codes i got are:

P 0442- (M) Evap leak monitor 0.040 Leak detected A 0.040 leak has been detected in the evaporative system
P 0455- ( M) Evap Leak Monitor Large Leak Detected a large leak has been detected in the evaporative system
P 0456- Evap Leak Monitor 0.020 leak detected a 0.020 leak has been dected in the eveaporative system
P 0440- cannot find

now the page on here said not to worry if the codes read P 0442 followed by P 0456 that just ment the gas cap wasn't tight. well i don't think that is my prob i tried it but light came back on and i can't find the last code on the list and i keep getting the run around when i take it to shops or have some one check the codes i have no clue on who is right and who is wrong. i have taken it to 4 different places and got 4 different answers.
If some one can help me please i would appreciate it.. I can work on cars but i am not an expert... THANKS
