Any advice on getting the old valve cover sparkplug tube gaskets out of the valve cover

your talking about the spark plug boots right? Becuase if they didn't put grease on them they will melt and seal themselves inside there...

It seems like they are fused. The are the gromets that go into the valve cover for the spark plug tubes.
