Yeah the civic's CAI and ours dont even COMPARE lol. My friend has a civic and his intake sits like 6in from the ground. Plus he's driving it through a puddle and got a whole bunch of water sucked up, all he did should that happen to anyone was turn off the car immedently and took off the filter got the water out and put it back on started the car back on and went on driving.

It is actually a nice setup similar to what a BMW would get. With that you do have quite a few more inches of clearance. Also that black HEAT shield make it an effective cold air induction as well.

Debated long and hard before settling on a TYPHOON.

Keep your lights out of water and you should be good.

well when i first got my car i was bord one day and just took the top of my airbox off, it helped breath alot better, not as good as a k&n but i was just messing around, and it sounded like it had an intake on it, haha. it gave it alittle more power but nothing compaired to when i went to a cold air intake, then intercooler :-)
