i have a prob with shifting
i have a 2004 dodge neon stx with a bogging prob when i shift from 1st to 2nd i will hit the gas it will start to go and then it will quit, the rpms will drop and it will not go but then it will start to climb back up after all that does anyone eles have that prob??? the dealer cant find the prob and cant fix it they just put a O2 sensor on it and said that will fix it and it didnt, also flashed a computer didnt fix it now they have a recorder on it and are goin to try that i just want to know if anyone has had that prob and what did they do to fix it????
My 03 has always done this... I've yet to figure out the problem. I've done the above and almost everything else. My fix was to rev out first a bit longer. It would only happen to me when i granny shifted first to second. I never shift under 3k on the tach.
BTW, most 03+ do it... your not alone.

New wires and plugs doesn't fix it. Mine does it from rarely...but still once in a great while it will. I usually just give it more gas, and when it goes, it GOES.
I seem to find that a lot of our cars are having this boggin problem, my car kinda does it but not really noticable like your guys, my guess would be the Throttle position sensor, b/c alot of them seem to go bad. The wires would cause you car to not run as crisp as it should. My only other guess would be the ecu but u said you had your's reflashed so I dont really have another possibility.
