Noticed a bright yellow '04 R/T sitting on my local dealers used car lot and wanted check out the dual exhaust to see (if I ever found one in say, a junk yard) if it would just fit and mount right up to my SE.
(by the way, guy said he would sell it to me for 10k if I bought it before the end of the year, forget to check the mileage tho...)
I notice the little side skirts that come on the R/T...looks like the mount easy enough, but there are 2 pieces to them on each side? (so 4 total?)
Stopped at the parts counter and asked, and the dude said $120.00 for each piece! wow...

Seems like side skirts (just the side skirts, not a whole body kit) would be cheaper in the aftermarket arena, no?

I got a quote from the local dodge body shop on how much the mopar complete ground effects kit would cost meaning painted and them installing it. They said just over 1,700 which is pricy but they do really nice work and paint.

 

Thats with a huge *** markup...Dodgeparts.com is selling the front/rear mopar lip kit for $440.00 ($600 painted) and the R/T side skirts for $270 ($290 painted)...

I ended up getting srt's for my car. I got the side skirts and the door pieces, red like my car off of E-bay. I paid 200.00 plus 40.00 for shipping.

 

I HAVE A 2000 4 DOOR DODGE NEON. WILL THE SIDE SKIRTS OR THE FRONT A ND REAR LIPS FIT MY CAR? IF NOT IS THERE ANY MOPAR ONES THAT WILL FIT?

 

Old thread I know, but I never really looked at close enough. The 1,700 was cause you can't get it painted in my electric blue color. So that and the fact that they were going to install it was the reason it was so much. Paint, labor and install costs, so it's like 700 for labor and paint which a rip considering I can get my entire car painted at maco for 250, lol. But that's life at a dealership bodyshop.
