Rainy Day In Jersey-Few Questions
So its one of those quiet rainy boring days in jersey that you just can pass up to have some fun in a desolate parking lot later tonight.... anyone in jersey know a good one... hahaha im joking, so anyways..... im bored and im going forum nutz today, im thinking about making my neon into a handling monster aka and autocross demon, etc etc. so far im thinking:
F & R Struts and Sways, Coilovers, and some 16" x 7.5" wheels [or 15" if i can find some lol], nice new set of cross drilled and slotted rotors, withsome nice new4 piston brake calipers in the front, was also thinkin' maybe i would find someone who makes a steering column with a shorter turning ratio.....? just my thoughts so far.... anyone else? oh and prolly some brand new motor mounts too... mine are starting to wear a bit anyways....
some more questions though:
1) If i get new rotors (cross drilled and slotted), what else do i have to change... b/c i do have ABS and i've heard that i'd need to change a bunch of stuff so my abs doesn't go nutz....?
2) Im not sure if I have a rear sway bar already... but either way would an aftermarket one bolt right up or would i have to do some modifications....?
3) The motor mounts, are they a difficult install, i.e. would i have to put a jack under the motor while i change them both or what?
4) Anyone have a suggestion about rims?
5) Its a very rainy day, and im very bored can anyone tell....? haha

1) drilled and slotted without abs is pointless unless you want the look
2)no rear sway bar and an aftermarket should bolt right up. hotchkis is the best
3)yes you have to jack up the motor but its basitally easy
4) chrone=gay get lightweight and paint your calipers
5)yes i can tell

and clarification, cross drilled and slotted would be okay with abs?

for the mounts you don't need hold this motor since most mounts don't replace the middel mount and it will soppurt the motor. but if you do the tranny mount then put jack under the motor
